The Wise Business Association will hosts the Annual Wise County Famous Fall Fling on the first full weekend of October. This year, the 31st Annual Wise County Famous Fall Fling will be held in historic downtown Wise, Virginia, Oct. 3-4, 2009.
The Fall Fling features bluegrass, country, and gospel music, and celebrates authentic Appalachian arts and crafts with over 100 vendors. You will find wood, pottery, art, photography, candles, soap, antiques, Native American crafts, traditional Appalachian crafts and much, much more.
The Fall Fling also features a beauty pageant.
Also, on Saturday and Sunday, we will have demonstrations of wood carving, black smithing, and chair caning.
